What different products types does Chalet Desserts make?
Chalet desserts produces a wide variety of baked and confection desserts most commonly in small bite sizes.
Is my cake pop raw?
No. Cake pops have a moist, dough-like center that has a similar consistency to raw cookie dough, but IT IS NOT RAW. We take fully baked cake and crumble it into a bowl and then mix in icing, to create a soft, smooth dough that can be shaped into a ball. This is how a traditional cake pop is made, not with a cake ball.
"A cake pop is a form of cake styled as a lollipop. Cake crumbs are mixed with icing or chocolate, and formed into small spheres or cubes in the same way as cake balls, before being given a coating of icing, chocolate or other decorations and attached to lollipop sticks. Cake pops can be a way of using up leftover cake or cake crumbs." - Wikipedia
I need a large quantity of cake pops for my wedding, birthday, or baby shower -- can I buy them directly from Chalet Desserts?
Unfortunately, we do not sell directly to the public. Your best course of action would be to contact your local retailer and ask them to special order the quantity that you need. Many retailers will be able to accommodate your request, but lead times vary, so make sure to give plenty of advance notice. In the meantime, try our Every Day White Cake Pops and tie a coordinating ribbon on them.
